Buying tether with tomans, step by step
There are two ways to buy tether here: from the exchange at a firm price, or from other customers in the peer-to-peer market. This guide covers both.

1. A toman balance
To buy from the exchange you first need tomans in your account. Under Deposits, choose one of these:
- Card to card: pay from a bank card in your own name to the card shown, then enter the card's last four digits and the time you paid. Staff match it against the bank statement.
- Bank transfer (Paya or Satna): pay into the exchange's account and enter the bank's tracking number.
- A payment gateway, where one is enabled: pay online with a bank card.
Always pay from an account or card in your own name. Payments from someone else's account are not accepted.
2. Buying from the exchange
Very large trades are checked once by staff before they settle, and the amount stays reserved for you meanwhile.
- 1Go to Buy & sell, tap Buy and choose tether.
- 2Type the amount in tomans, or tap 25%, 50%, 75% or Max.
- 3The firm price, spread and fee are shown. The price holds for 45 seconds; the countdown shows how long is left.
- 4Confirm. The tether is added to your balance at once.
3. Or from other customers
In the peer-to-peer market you see sell offers for tether with their price, limits and the seller's record. When you take one, the seller's tether is locked by the exchange; you pay tomans straight into the seller's account, and the seller releases the tether once they see the money. Read ‘Trading safely peer-to-peer’ before your first trade.
4. Moving tether to another wallet
- 1Under Withdrawals, choose tether.
- 2Choose the network, and make sure the receiving wallet supports that same network.
- 3Enter the destination address. A new address waits for a while before its first use, so that if anyone but you added it, you can disown it.
Each network's fee and minimum withdrawal are shown on that screen before you confirm.
- Your monthly statementEvery Persian calendar month, a summary of all your deposits, withdrawals and trades with opening and closing balances: what is in it, and how to turn its email on or off.
- How the price you see is builtMarket rate, spread, fee and the firm price: where each number comes from, and why buying and selling prices differ.
- Limit orders and recurring buysNo need to sit watching the screen: set the price you want to buy or sell at, or buy a fixed amount automatically every day, week or month.
- Price alertsWhen a currency, tether or gold reaches the number you set, you are told — even with the app closed.
