The market rate

Currency and tether rates are read from several sources in Iran's market, and the median of the healthy ones is used. If the sources disagree widely, answer late, or too few answer, the platform pauses trading rather than announce a price that may be wrong.

The spread

The exchange sells a little above the market rate and buys a little below it; that gap is the spread, stated in basis points (hundredths of a percent). It differs by asset: narrower for currencies with deeper markets, wider for metals. The full list is published on the fees page.

The fee

Some trades carry a separate fee. Any fee is always shown before the confirm button, and on the fees page.

The firm price

When you enter an amount, the exchange gives you a firm price that holds for 45 seconds. Confirm within that time and you trade at that price, even if the market moves meanwhile. After that, a fresh price is taken.

Every figure on screen is in tomans; the books are kept in rials, and the conversion happens only on display.
