Signing up
- 1On the sign-in page, enter a mobile number registered in your own name.
- 2Enter the code sent by SMS. It works once, lasts a few minutes, and only a few attempts are allowed.
- 3Type your full name as it appears on your national card, and choose a password.
Nobody from Sarafi Iranian will ever ask for your SMS code or password — not by phone, not in a messenger.
Verifying your identity
You can trade up to a set amount without verifying. Larger amounts, withdrawals and the peer-to-peer market need verification. The exact limits are on the Limits page of your profile.
- 1Under Identity, enter your national ID number, date of birth and address.
- 2Upload a photo of your national card (or birth certificate) and a selfie holding the document. Make it bright, complete and uncropped.
- 3Submit. Staff review the documents, and you are told the result by notification and email.
How your documents are kept
- Files are checked before they are stored to make sure they really are pictures or PDFs, and photos are redrawn, which removes hidden data such as a phone's location.
- Every time a member of staff opens a document, it is written to the audit log.
- Documents are kept in storage only the platform can reach, not browsers.
If your request is rejected
The reason is shown on the Identity page; the usual ones are an unreadable picture, a cropped document or a name that does not match. Upload the right document and submit again.
