Turn on two-factor sign-in
Once it is on, anything that moves money asks for the app's code too.
- 1Under Profile → Security, turn on two-factor sign-in.
- 2Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy).
- 3Keep the recovery codes somewhere safe and off your phone. Each works once, and if you lose your phone they are your way back in.
Never give anyone your codes
- No one at Sarafi Iranian will ever ask for your SMS code, your two-factor code or your password.
- Check the address before typing a password: sarafiranian.com. Links sent in messengers may lead to a fake site.
- If your SIM card suddenly stops working, contact your carrier and the exchange's support at once; someone may have had a SIM issued in your name.
Withdrawal destinations
Every new withdrawal address or account waits for a while (a day by default) before its first use, and you are told about it. If you did not add it, disown it from that message; a disowned destination can never be approved again.
If something looks wrong
- 1Change your password. Changing it signs out every other session on your account.
- 2Turn on two-factor sign-in, or generate new recovery codes.
- 3Contact support so the account can be checked.
- Tether's networks: TRC20, ERC20 and BEP20Tether exists on several separate blockchains. Choosing the wrong network is the most common way to lose funds — and it usually cannot be undone.
